Volunteer Terms and Conditions
1. Agreement to Policies
By volunteering with Unity for World Salvation, you agree to adhere to all policies and guidelines provided by the organization. These policies are designed to ensure a safe, respectful, and productive environment for all participants.
2. Code of Conduct
Volunteers are expected to conduct themselves with integrity and respect toward others. This includes maintaining professionalism, confidentiality, and a positive attitude when interacting with team members, community members, and beneficiaries.
3. Confidentiality
As a volunteer, you may have access to sensitive information. You agree to keep all such information confidential and to not share any personal, organizational, or beneficiary details outside the organization.
4. Health and Safety
Unity for World Salvation prioritizes the safety and well-being of all volunteers. Volunteers agree to follow safety protocols provided by the organization and to report any unsafe conditions or incidents immediately to a supervisor.
5. Attendance and Reliability
Volunteers are required to be punctual and reliable. If unable to attend a scheduled activity, volunteers must inform their supervisor as soon as possible to allow for alternative arrangements.
6. Media and Publicity
Unity for World Salvation may take photos or videos during activities for promotional purposes. By volunteering, you agree that your image and likeness may be used in media or marketing materials unless you specify otherwise in writing.
7. Reimbursement
Volunteer roles are unpaid, and Unity for World Salvation does not offer reimbursement for expenses unless specifically agreed upon in advance.
8. Termination of Volunteer Role
Unity for World Salvation reserves the right to end a volunteer’s role if they do not adhere to these terms, display inappropriate conduct, or if the role is no longer needed. Volunteers may also terminate their role by providing notice to their supervisor.
9. Liability
While Unity for World Salvation aims to create a safe environment, volunteers agree to hold the organization harmless for any injury or loss incurred during volunteer activities, except in cases of gross negligence.
Agreement Confirmation
Before submitting the volunteer application, volunteers must check a box that states: “I agree to the terms and conditions of volunteering with Unity for World Salvation.”
